Bryan Knauber

A very short summary of a nerd that likes to make stuff. (That’s me. Hi!)

Born and raised in northwestern Wisconsin, I've always been a nerd that likes to make stuff. I started in Microsoft Paint, moved to PowerPoint, then to Photoshop on my MacBook Pro, and have loved creating design and interactive experiences all the while.

I graduated from school in Minneapolis in 2010 and moved to San Francisco shortly after, where I was the designer for a startup called Instant Automatic. In addition to that I've been doing freelance design since before I started college, and have built many, many websites (something like 35+).

My main passion is UI design and front-end development in HTML and CSS (and SASS), but I also love being able to have a hand in every part of the design process. I love designing for screen or print in Photoshop and Illustrator, building sites on WordPress, hacking at JQuery, writing, and taking photos.

In my free time I enjoy making people groan with puns on Twitter, hanging out with my friends (who are starting to live all over the country), making music, watching sci-fi, and eating french fries and drinking Arnold Palmers.

I'm currently exploring work opportunities in San Francisco and Minneapolis, so if you're doing cool things and think I'd be a good fit please don't hesitate to get in touch.
